Ah, if only the wine were as nice as the label. This sauvignon blanc from New Zealand is produced and bottled by DeRedcliffe Estates, owned by Ed Ester, an American publishing entrepreneur, and is downright nasty. The melon and tropical fruit flavors described on the label translate to cabbage and grass to my palate. To boot, the price is among the highest I've seen for a mag of white. In spite of a few positive reviews at some online sites, i suggest you stay away from this one.
